These are just some of the "must reads." Hidden within are the general rules for both in character and out of character posting, rules concerning behavior of members, information and rules on how to play, and the all important passwords that can get you into certain boards.

Within this board is all of the information that concerns the set-up of the city itself and the plot that this site will center around. This is also where you can find information on the three clans that inhabit the city as well as the wandering cats and the others.

This is the board where you will find important announcements - such as rule changes and plot advances - as well as the monthly activity checks that will be held.

This is the board where biographies of cats will be created, accepted, and sorted. Here you can find all accepted biographies and the Clan that they belong to. There are three Clans: Katana, Hokage, and Nami. There is a board for each of those Clans, as well as boards for the Rurouni, Others, and the deceased.

A lot of people like to keep track of what their characters have been doing, what threads they are currently in, who their characters have met, and so on. This board is provided for people who would like to keep a "journal" or "log" for their characters. Only one post per member, please.

This board is provided for any other board concerning characters that has not been provided, such as a "searching for" board or a plot board. Also inculded are the kit announcement and fight boards.

The home of the Katana's is a large mansion on the edge of town. The house is made of gray stone, and parts of it are crumbling down, but it still provides adequate shelter for the cats. There isn't much in the way of furniture inside the out. Mostly just a few desks, tables, and chairs. But there are a few blankets and some mats that the cat use as beds.

Katana territory covers the part of the city that was once the district that belonged to the upper class. There are several gardens and parks that have been overgrown for some time. There is plenty of prey to be caught, even in winter, so the cats live well. Several streams run through the gardens. They also have what was once the Marketplace of the city.

Katana Clan shares borders with the Other Lands, Nami Clan, and Hokage Clan. A canal marks the border between Katana and Nami, a Street marks the border between Katana and the Other Lands, and a wall marks the border between Katana and Hokage.

The Hokage Clan makes their home in the forest. They live in the side of a rock cliff deep within the trees. These caverns have several different chambers to house their members. The caverns are large and the system reaches deep into the side of the cliff, though few ever venture farther than the Warriors' Den, since no one can find their way through the cavern system.

The lands that belong to the Hokage Clan are almost entirely made up of the Ryou forest. Most of the forest is dense and holds a bounty of prey, but part of it is open woodland with little undergrowth. There is less prey to find here and most of the trees appear to be oak. Later on the oak grove turns into hills that are covered with many large boulders.

Hokage Clan shares borders with Katana Clan, the Other Lands, and Nami Clan. A field outside of the city separates them from Nami Clan while the wall on one side of the city separates them from Katana Clan. All that separates them from the Other Lands is a river.

The Nami Underground is the home - and part of the territory - of Nami Clan. The Underground is a system of tunnels, caverns, lakes, and rivers that run beneath the lower part of the city. These were sometimes used as escape routes for the humans when they still lived here. In later years it was even used for smuggling drugs and weapons in and out of the city. One thing is for certain, these caverns and tunnels have a dark past.

The lands that belong to Nami Clan include the Underground that runs beneath most of the lower city - and even parts of the upper city - as well as the above-ground lower district of the city and a small, abandoned pine tree farm on the outskirts of town. Depending on the time of year, the prey can run strong or be scare. There is some fishing in the Underground lakes and rivers.

The borders around Nami Clan are well defined. Nami cats are known to be more controlling over their lands than the other two Clans. Chi no Unga is the border betweet Katana Clan and Nami Clan, while the Sakura Feilds serve as the boundry between Nami Clan and Hokage Clan. Sakura street marks the border between Nami Clan and the Other Lands.

This is the only part of Kyatto City that the Other Lands contains. There are only a few blocks of city here, including some of the warehouses that belonged to the city and one of the few government buildings. Most of these buildings are run down and unrecognizable.

Whatever part of Ryou Forest that Hokage Clan does not own has fallen into the paws of those who control the Other Lands. Much of the forest is dense and filled with thick underbrush, sometimes making it hard to find prey. But there is prey, and so it has it's uses to the cats who live in the Other Lands.

The Willow Grass Hills lay just outside of the Ryou Forest and belong to the Other Lands. They are lush, green hills filled with soft grasses and heather and plenty of prey. This is a great place to hunt or just hang out, especially in late spring or summer.

This is the board where you can post things about completely random subject, find games to play or stary your own, hold polls for some question that you would like to ask other members, or just anything else that you can think of. There are separate boards for certain uses. This is a member-only board.
